You are invited to A Brighter Day’s dazzling night of virtual celebrations!

A Brighter Day is set to host the 3rd Annual Virtual Gala on November 10th, 2022 at 5:30 pm on Paybee.

In the charity’s 6th year, the virtual gala will be an exclusive and anticipated event featuring an array of entertainment for the whole family.

From live music performances and comedy to exciting auctions that directly support our mission, it is sure to be an unforgettable night for everyone.

Aside from the sweet tunes, belly laughs, and must-have auction items (Napa Valley wine basket, anyone?), attendees can expect to hear all about this year’s successes and where the charity is headed next.

Community Outreach

The 6th Annual Golf Tournament broke A Brighter Day’s record with the highest turnout to date. This sold-out event brought the Tri-Valley community together and even attracted the attention of professional athletes, Jeff Garcia and Dave Righetti, as well as San Jose Sharks commentator, Randy Hahn. The success of this fundraiser set in motion a variety of programs to come.

New Help

A Brighter Day welcomes a new Project Director and Events Manager, Shaina Steinberg and Courtney Collins. As pivotal additions to the team, our grassroots charity keeps growing.

Program Winners

Our College Scholarship Program announced winners, awarding $1,000 scholarships to multiple teens. This program provided more than just financial aid to students. It created a platform for recipients to let their voices be heard and speak out for teen mental health.

The September Wine Tasting Event sold out months before the date (another first!) and our Charity Golf Event was our most successful to date.

Charity Brunch

Our limited capacity Bubbles and Brunch event took place, further propelling our charity into the eyes of the community. A winning auction item from last year, each of our past events pushes our charity forward.

Partnership with BetterHelp

We’ve landed a Teletherapy Partnership with Betterhelp, the largest therapy platform in the world. A huge accomplishment for our charity, this partnership now allows us to focus on treatment options following our educational program. Even better, our program offers financial assistance for those who are unable to afford therapeutic services. Bridging the gap between those who need therapy and who can afford it, this partnership has given us the ability to provide a hands-on solution to those who need it most.

Crisis Lines Implemented

We’ve landed a Partnership with Crisis Text Line, a global non-profit organization providing free mental health texting services through confidential crisis intervention. Anyone can text the word “BRIGHTER” to 741741 and within 5 minutes they will be connected to a licensed mental health professional. This service will be available 24/7 and can be used daily for up to 40 minutes.

What you can expect from the event:

5:30 PM

The Virtual Gala will kick off with general introductions, the 1st music performance, and a welcome speech from our founder, Elliot Kallen.

5:40 PM

Following the 2nd music performance, our new Project Director, Shaina Steinberg will introduce herself. At this point, we will feature testimonials from our College Scholarship winners.

(Don’t miss this part!)

5:50 PM

Our new Events Manager, Courtney Collins, will introduce herself. A 3rd music performance will tie up this segment.

6:00 PM

The live auction begins. Keith McClane will start auctioning off our exclusive items, many of which have been donated by businesses in the local community. Make sure to act fast!

7:00 PM

All great things must come to an end, as this marks the finale of our spectacular event. At this point, attendees will have the opportunity to save charity information, subscribe to our newsletter, view sponsors, or make a donation.

Get ready to make a huge impact on teen mental health and prevent teen suicide.

We’ll see you on November 10th!

A Brighter Day Charity is pleased to recognize those individuals and organizations who contribute to our work through general operating grants, project support, individual gifts, pro bono service, or in–kind contributions. We are grateful.
